Adoption and Limitations#OSC 66 works well in Kitty, but the tool’s usefulness is constrained by how widely the protocol is supported. Currently it is supported by Kitty and Foot. Discussions are ongoing in other projects—Ghostty has an open pull request and a tracking issue for implementation, while neovim tracks the feature request in issue 32539.
